Low Alkalinity can cause pH levels to fluctuate. While high alkalinity levels can casue pH to resist adjustment, create cloudy water, or even scale.

Alkalinity Increaser Ingredients:

• 100% Sodium Bicarbonate (Sodium hydrogen carbonate, Baking Soda)

Alkalinity Ideal Range: 80-120 ppm

Before adding the product to your pool:

1. Measure the total alkalinity of the pool water with a test kit or strips.
2. If total alkalinity is below 80 ppm, add this product using dosage chart below. 1 lb. = approximately 1.75 cups.
3. Next keep the circulation pump running. Add this product directly into the skimmer. Allow the pool pump to circulate the water and run for atleast 24 hrs.
4. Do not mix other chemicals into the skimmer when adding Alkalinity increaser.
5. Restest the total alkilinity levels after 4 hours.
6. Repeat the above steps until an acceptable range of 80 ppm to 120 ppm is reached.
