Pool Dosages:
- Freshly Filled Pools: 6-11 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water
- Visible Algae Growth: 11-17 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water
- Weekly Treatment: 2-4 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons every 5-7 days
Directions for Use:
- Follow Instructions: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions when using Maintain Algaecide 60 in conjunction with other pool chemicals.
- Pump Operation: Ensure the pool pump is running when adding this product.
- Filter Cleaning: Clean the pool filter as necessary.
- pH Levels: Adjust the pool water's pH levels to between 7.4 and 7.6.
- CYA Levels: In chlorine pools that use stabilized chlorine, adjust CYA levels to between 30-50 ppm.
- Chlorine Levels: Maintain an available free chlorine level of 1-3 ppm.
- Initial Treatment: For freshly cleaned, filled, or restored pools, add 6 to 11 fl. oz. of Maintain Algaecide 60 per 10,000 gallons of water.
- Maintenance: Continue to add 2-4 fl. oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of water every 5 to 7 days after the initial treatment.
- After Heavy Rain: Add an additional 2 fl. oz. of Maintain Algaecide 60 per 10,000 gallons of water after heavy rain.
- Preparation: It is recommended to brush and vacuum your pool prior to adding this product or any other algaecide to loosen algae.
Pool use may resume 15 minutes after applying the prouct to the water
